Even Calypso asked him to surrender to FATE,
Despite giving love for Seven years, w/ no Hate!
He who melted even Sorceress’s Circe’s Heart,
Find a way vide Hell, She said, His point of start!
He avenged for his fallen men to Polyphemus,
As that any King, or, Soldier, had always done!
Yet, met in the shadows of the Poseidon’s wrath,
Also broken Zeus’s Covenant! Not burying his men!
Back in Kingdom, enemies prying for His Death,
In Oceans were Scylla & Charybdis, many ahead;
His Queen would’ve left him for Suitors’ unknown,
Son by Sacrificial Priests had already been consumed!
The Odysseus was kept alive by the Gods & Devils,
So that He can Tell Tales of -> Life, Destiny, of Fallen!
No rest was there, no peace for the way to come,
The Odyssey was where Homer had cultivated his barn! ☹
