Imagine! Had the World Not opened its doors’ for the US’s Services, Entertainment, which were absolutely distributed Free without any hindrances across Borders for Decades!
Today, the Shopkeepers in the WEST are Howling about only Goods related Trade-Surplus OR Trade-Deficit; BUT, they’re not mentioning how from the other side of the Trade (Services), US benefited itself without any cross-border hindrances.
Again, the Singaporean PM indirectly said that the US consumers bought so much, and with so less money. Walmart / Target / Costco etc. are flooded with cheap products, so much so that there’s no provision of Repairing anything in the US. If a product stops working there, Americans can easily purchase a New product, rather opting for repairing. Similarly, look at the Software part. Today’s A.I. giants galvanized the DATA of the World for Decades, bypassing BERNE, to build the next Generation AI modules. Further, all the pharmaceutical related experiments’ were first done on Thousands of People in the African Continent, and NOT in the West, to build the next generation pharma products. Imagine, had the mRNA Vaccines were built in Third World Countries, and people started dying with enlarged hearts etc.; then, US would’ve appealed at UN, sanctioning those Third World Countries.Singaporean P.M. is correct. The Shopkeepers of the West are only restricting the Tariff to Goods, and, forgetting about the Services from US that the World Freely welcomed across the Borders.
The Sputnik Vaccine back then showed the same result what the mRNA Vaccine gave, yet, the World accepted mRNA built by US. Right or Wrong? Because there was a Trust Factor, which now is lost for good. Same goes for Trust in Dollars, even after 2008 recession.
This Tariff Tantrums of the Goods MINUS Services without any global hindrances (that the World took from the US), has not been mentioned by the US so far. And so goes for the Entertainment Sector as well. And as I already said, it is because of Hollywood that the US became famous! Whether it was Michael Jackson’s Liberian Girl, or, Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, or, Peter Jackson’s LOTR, and many more; Remove these, and you decide, what else is left there? -> Shops? Buildings? Bullets?
So, this one-sided Tantrums & Lies should STOP now, if there’s even 1% Ethics left anywhere!
